The Hours Of Folly: a Quadratura exhibition

November 29th, 2008

“The hours of folly are measured by the clock, but of wisdom no clock can measure.”
William Blake

An exhibition created by Alex May and Martin A. Smith for Quadratura reflecting on the invisible forces that power and govern our everyday existence.

The walls of the gallery are peeled away to reveal the hidden workings that enable our lives.

In reaction to this, and for the night of the private view only, the outside of the gallery will become a canvas, hiding the structure beneath a projection of colour.

Private View:

Tuesday 2nd December, 2008. 6-9pm (invitation only – contact us if you’d like to come along!)

Exhibition:

Wednesday 3rd December – Sunday 7th December 2008
Open 12.00am – 5.00pm Wednesday to Sunday.
Entry Free.

Quadratura light show at The Digital Media Awards: South

November 29th, 2008

Quadratura was on hand at the DiMAS awards (27th November 2008) providing a two hour DJ/VJ set.

This was the first exclusive use of PatchBox for a live VJ set and it enabled us to run three independent screens of video and do some architectural light painting on the back walls!

Congratulations to all the winners, and Wired Sussex for putting on a very enjoyable event.  We had a great time!
