Les Statues Meurent Aussi (Statues Also Die), the name was taken from the 1953 Chris Marker and Alain Resnais film. Our interactive video piece explores the perception of sculpture over time: when first seen, a sculpture imparts its basic form. The longer you look, the more information is imparted, and a longer residual impression is created. But look for too long and it looses its impact, fading into the background until it is no longer noticed.
