Rossetti Fountain

Rossetti studied under Ford Maddox Brown after leaving the Royal Academy in 1848, and also developed the philosophy of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, with Holman Hunt.

This piece was another favourite of the event. We expanded on the physical form of the Rossetti fountain and its placement.

We added a stream of glowing water bubbling up from the fountain itself, and running down to the ground, which “caused” vine like growths to sprout up and cover the face of the sculpture, and merge with the surrounding trees; an innocent self-destructive return to nature.
